From space planning and room layout to colour advice and product suggestions, a professional second opinon can open your eyes to possibilities you may not have considered or gently nudge you in the right direction. At Life, our interior design service is completely client led, providing as little or as much help as you need. From supplying a single blind to project managing a new development, we build a close relationship with our clients to ensure they're happy each step of the way.

What to expect from us
Whether your project is a whole house redesign, commercial refit or simple pair of curtains, our approach to each client is the same. We'll meet with you free of charge to discuss your requirements and budget, to gain an understanding of what you want to achieve and the ideas you have for your project. We will then write to you with our ideas and the costs involved. Should you wish to appoint us, we ask for written confirmation of the quote and, depending on the size of the project, a signed, simple contract, so that both parties understand the working relationship. We have long-standing relationships with a team of respected tradesmen and hold accounts with leading fabric, furniture and lighting companies so are able to assist you with sourcing and procurement to ensure you receive the best products and service at reasonable prices.

How we charge
Each job is different and fees depend on the complexity of the project, however as a guide we charge £100.00+VAT per hour. For larger projects we may work on a fixed sum or percentage of project fee. All charges are agreed with the client up front, before work begins, to avoid any nasty surprises and our initial meeting is normally free of charge.
