Extension & Garden Design

Life were appointed by this client to project manage an extension and garden redesign to create an indoor/outdoor space for the whole family to enjoy.  We appointed the architect and builders, overseeing the planning process to ensure the extension maximised the space available whilst sympathetic to the orignal house and conservation restrictions.  Local craftsmen created custom-built cabinetry that sit comfortably with the existing interior design and provides maximum use of space in the new extension. We also commissioned bespoke planters, gates and a summer house in keeping with the character of the house. Working with a landscape gardener, we created a multi-purpose outdoor space, with terrace, fire-pit and play areas using structured planting and stone work to zone the areas.  This project is designed to future-proof the home for this growing family.
